Introduction

Hypnobirthing is an approach to childbirth that involves using relaxation, breathing techniques, visualization, and self-hypnosis to help manage the sensations and pain associated with labor. The goal of hypnobirthing is to promote a calm and natural birthing experience by reducing fear, tension, and anxiety during labor. It is important to remember that hypnobirth will not completely remove pain or discomfort but allow the individual to self-soothe through the pain through breathing and positive affirmations. This unique hypnobirth track, invokes relief through the use of Allah’s (swt) names, Qurʾānic verses and overall faith-based relaxation techniques. Although hypnosis as a concept is not favorable, hypnobirthing is more similar to redirecting your energy and strengthening your willpower. This is the direction that Kisa Family hopes to take. It is a way to honor the birth process and may not completely remove pain and discomfort but can provide positive affirmations.

We hope that you and your family will benefit from this work inshāʾAllāh. We pray to Allah (swt) to give us the strength and tawfīq to perform our duties and responsibilities.  DISCLAIMER: please note that hypnobirthing may not work for everyone, please consult with your doctor for any medical advice.
